This product is the sodium salt of Sulfaquinoxaline. The content of c14h11n4nao2s should not be
less than 98.0% according to the dry product.
Character:
This product is a white or light yellow powder, odorless. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in
ethanol.
Supervision:
(1) take about 1g of this product, dissolve it with 25ml of water, add 2ml of acetic acid to
precipitate yellow precipitate; filter, wash the precipitate with water, dry it at 105 ºC for 1 hour,
according to the identification test of Sulfaquinoxaline, the same results are obtained.
(2) The water solution of this product shows the identification reaction of sodium salt (sop-044).
Inspection:
The alkalinity of the product is 1.0g, dissolved in 5ml of water, and determined according to the law
(sop-012). The pH value should be 9.5-10.5.
Related substances:
Take this product, add water to make a solution containing 25mg per 1ml as the test solution,
accurately measure an appropriate amount, dilute it with 0.1mol/l sodium hydroxide solution to
make a solution containing 0.25mg per 1ml as the control solution, and determine by TLC
(ws-024) )In the test, 1 μ l of each of the above two solutions was absorbed, and then they were
respectively put on the same silica gel G thin layer plate, with n-butanol concentrated ammonia
(15:3) as the developing agent. After development, they were dried, sprayed with 0.1%
p-Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde hydrochloric acid ethanol (1:99) solution for inspection. If the test
solution shows more than one impurity spot, it shall not be deeper than the main spot of the
control solution.
Weight loss on drying:
Take this product and dry it at 105 ºC to constant weight. The weight loss shall not exceed 5.0%
(sop-003).
