Descriptions:
FT-Fenbenda 20% Granule is a Anti-worm medicine. Fenbendazole has a broad spectrum of insect repellent effect, including nematode worm, tapeworm and trematode, which is not effective against schistosoma. The mechanism of action of fenbendazole is mainly to bind to the tubulin of sensitive insect body and prevent it from polymorphic assembly into tubulin with leuben-microtubulin, thus affecting the cell reproduction process of insect body cells such as mitosis, protein assembly and energy metabolism.
Indications
FT-Fenbenda 20% Granule is indecated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms (adult and 4th stage larvae),lungworms(adult & larval stage), tapeworms(head and segments)and hookworms in Equidae(Horse,Donkeys etc.,).
Dosage and administration:
Horses,Mules,Donkey&Ponies
7.5mg of Fenbendazole per kg b.wt orally which is equivalent to( 1 sachet of 12 g of FT-Fenbenda 20% per 320 kg b.wt)
Withdrawal period(s)
For Meat : 14 days  For Milk :3 days
CAUTION:
DO NOT TREAT ANIMAL AT EARLY PREGNANCY
Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes), if necessary
At regular doses, fenbendazole generally does not produce adverse reactions. As the dead parasite releases antigens, it can produce secondary allergic reactions, especially at high doses. Note: Forbidden for horses for food.
Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay
Only use for the non lactated animal.
